Blizzard has confirmed that RP-PVP realms are coming to Season of Discovery! Like back in 2019, before Classic had launched initially, the development team once again listened to community feedback and decided to add the widely popular server ruleset to WoW's second classic season experience, which will launch on November 30.

Season of Discovery Developer Update All Runes in Season of Discovery

Tom Ellis, Senior Game Producer for World of Warcraft Classic, stated on Twitter that Blizzard will add an RP-PVP realm for the launch of WoW Classic Season of Discovery:

Ellis also confirmed that Blizzard will apply their faction balance strategy coming with Season of Discovery to RP-PVP realms as well:

In a recent developer update, Ellis, also known as Fwoibles on the official Blizzard forums, has provided details regarding Blizzard's approach to server management for the launch of Season of Discovery.

While realm capacity will be increased compared to Classic Era realms back during Classic's launch in 2019, Blizzard will also try to actively enforce character creation restrictions to balance factions on all PvP realms to improve the overall gameplay experience on those realms.
