While a new lineup of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium games was confirmed earlier this week, the date they go live (Tuesday, 18th February 2025) also marks the moment a different list of eight PS5, PS4 titles leaves the service. It'll be an RPG exodus next week, with the following games taken off PS Plus:

Unlike the PS Plus Essential tier, once these games are removed from the service, you can't continue playing them. The only ways you could pick up your progress again would be to buy them off the PS Store or purchase a physical copy. As we highlighted these departing titles back when they first joined the Last Chance to Play section on PS5, there's a good chance you've already at least made a start on one of these RPGs before they leave.
If not, however, you'll need to ditch any Valentine's Day plans to get them finished. Except for Bulletstorm, which is a fun and shorter FPS, all these games will take at least 20 hours to finish. Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he's found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.
I finished Symphonia at the weekend largely because of it leaving Plus. I could have gone back to my disc copy but it was an incentive to finally get it done and then sell my disc. I did the same with Nier Replicant.
One less RPG on the eternal backlog
Outriders was surprisingly good. Decent story, cool protagonist, nice shooting with a focus on killing enemies fast, solid progression. End-game, though, is kinda boring and repetitive, but DLC fixes the problem.
