Recently, Redditor Famous_Habit2374 shared a cool, interesting, and small detail about the game’s rabbits.Red Dead Redemption 2’s nature interacts with players in a lot of ways or often against other animals, such as deer approaching Arthur/John, rotting carcasses, and the occasional brawl in the wild. Rabbits are obviously not made for the latter, and they in fact have a major, natural hiding hole they’ll interact with.
As seen above, some startled, chased, or hunted rabbits will take off away from the player, either trying to escape by running or by hiding. Red Dead Redemption 2’s rabbits have the ability to hide in burrowed trees. The animation is pretty quick, so if someone has ever had a rabbit disappear on them, it’s entirely possible they took to these trees.
