Popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that we could see a USB-C iPhone 15 in 2023. The speculation has also been backed by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman with sources revealing that Apple is already testing USB-C for coming iPhone models. He added that the tech giant is also working on a Lightning/USB-C adapter to ensure backward compatibility for those who already own Lightning accessories.
Apple has been working on its own 5G modem chip for a few years and now many reports expect it to arrive soon. Though, it’s too early to predict how Apple’s own 5G modem chip would be beneficial over the Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 chips that Apple currently uses.
