Samsung will reportedly launch its successor to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. The new phone is being referred to as Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. While the exact launch date of the smartphone is yet to be revealed by the company, it is speculated to be unveiled during the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event on August 26. The company is likely to announce its next-generation foldable smartphones along with the Galaxy Watch 5 series and Flip 4 as revealed by tipster Jon Prosser. Popular tipster Jon Prosser shared that the new smartphone will reportedly be launched around Aug 10, 2022. The handset is likely to be introduced in three colour variants - Phantom Black, Beige and Green.
Samsung will also introduce a new Lavender colour for the Galaxy S22.
Tipster Yogesh Brar recently revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will come with a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support which is same as the predecessor. The secondary screen i.e, the outer display, will be 6.2 inches. It will be an AMOLED panel with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
This foldable smartphone will boot on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with 12GB/16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage. The phone will come with Android 12 OS out of the box with OneUI on top of it.
Further, it will feature a triple camera system on the back with a 50MP main lens as opposed to a 12MP main lens on the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
