Nothing Phone (1) finally has a launch date! The first smartphone from Nothing, which has been hyped beyond limits, is now confirmed to launch on July 12 at a live event on London. The event will also be livestreamed at 8:30 pm IST, which can be accessed via Nothing.tech. Nothing reveals nothing about the smartphone yet (see the pun?), but we expect the leaks to give us an idea of everything leading up to the launch.
“It’s our first smartphone, and our most important product. The real start of Nothing’s journey. To make tech fun again. And an invitation to unlearn everything the industry has taught us,” says Nothing in its media note. Nothing has os far teased the design of the phone in a previous blog, which confirms a transparent rear design allowing one to see the internals clearly. The phone itself is expected to be a midrange Android smartphone running on Qualcomm's Snapdragon chip.

The teasers have given us a glimpse of what to expect from the Nothing Phone (1). The rear of the phone will be an all-transparent design giving us a peek at the internal components. Nothing also revealed its Nothing OS, an Android skin that focuses on the minimalist design theme without any pre-loaded apps or bloatware. In fact, the Nothing OS experience is available to users across Android devices as a Nothing launcher.
Leaks and rumours suggest that the Nothing Phone (1) will have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and very slim as well as uniform bezels all around the display. The phone is said to use the Snapdragon 778G chipset, although some suggest the possibility of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip also
