Gionee has launched its much anticipated Gionee P50 Pro in China and notably, it looks quite identical to the iPhone 13 and also to the Huawei P50 Pro. The handset features a boxy design and a notch on the front to accommodate the selfie shooter while the rear camera layout is quite identical to the Huawei P50 Pro. It has five camera sensors arranged in two circular modules on its rear panel. The handset features a 6.517-inch FHD+ display, with 128GB expandable storage and 6GB RAM. The Gionee P50 Pro has been launched at a price of RMB 659 i.e, roughly Rs. 7,600 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, while 4GB + 128GB variant costs RMB 739 (roughly Rs. 8,600) and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at RMB 759 (roughly Rs. 8,800). It is available in Bright Black, Crystal, and Dark Blue colors. As of now the handset is available in China only and is likely to arrive in the global market later.
As listed on the company’s official website, Gionee P50 Pro comes with a 6.51-inch FHD display with a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio and 20:9 aspect ratio. As for the optics, the handset houses a 13MP primary sensor paired with four other lenses and an LED flash on the back and 5MP selfie shooter on the front. The details of the other rear camera sensors are kept under wraps at the moment. Further, connectivity options include 4G LTE, OTG, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C.
Apart from this the Gionee P50 Pro features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and AI face unlock. It measures 165×77.3×8.9mm and weighs 211 grams. The chipset details aren’t revealed yet but it comes in two storage variants - 64GB and 128 GB and two ram variants - 4GBand 6GB.
