In a new Minecraft DLC, SpongeBob SquarePants will look for the “The best day ever”
Minecraft players are in for a real treat. SpongeBob SquarePants is coming to the game as a new Minecraft DLC. And not only him but all his friends like Mr. Krabs Squidward and all the popular locations in the Bikini Bottom will be available for the players to explore. The popular Nickelodeon animated series has been a part of childhood for most of us. And if you grew up watching the optimistic yellow, porous and absorbent sponge do his mischievous affairs, then you should get ready to relive the experience. And this is not all. On June 30, Minecraft Now, the video series that provides the gamer community with information around future updates revealed that a SpongeBob DLC was coming soon to Minecraft. According to the video, it will be an official adventure, much like the Lightyear DLC. In this Minecraft DLC, players will explore Bikini Bottom where an amazing recreation of the aquatic town has been created. Players can check out the homes of SpongeBob SquarePants, Squidward, Mr. Krabs and even Mermaid Man’s retirement home. There is a lot to see and explore but do not forget your main task in the game which is to make it “the best day ever” for SpongeBob. While not all the details are known, a few of the shenanigans that players will be able to do is visit Mr. Krabs, play Squidward’s instrument and play with Gary, the snail.
The release date of the Minecraft DLC is not known at the moment. Posting about the announcement, the official handle of Minecraft Marketplace tweeted, “Keep an eye out for SpongeBob SquarePants coming soon to Marketplace”.
