Radiant Echoes Pre-Patch Event Changes - Final Boss Health Increase, Crests
A couple changes have been noticed on the Radiant Echoes pre-patch event! Changes currently noticed include a health increase on the final bosses of each zone event, and Crests and Flightstones being awarded from participating in the event.
Final Boss Health Massively Increased
One of the changes we noticed on the event is that the health of the final bosses of each Radiant Echoes event — Remembered Onyxia, Remembered Firelord, Remembered Lich King — is now much higher, probably as a result of a buff to the mechanic that increases a NPC's health when additional players hit them!
Bosses in the last couple Radiant Echoes rotations have gone from taking 30 seconds to die to taking a couple minutes, allowing more players the chance to tag them, and even seeing more mechanics in the process! A complaint players have had during the Radiant Echoes event is how fast the events go by — a blink-and-you-miss-it situation — and this will definitely help alleviate these concerns a little bit.

Crests and Flightstones Awarded from the Event
One of the main purposes of the Radiant Echoes event is to provide catch-up gear for alts, providing plenty of sources for Veteran 1/8 (ilvl480) gear. With a recent hotfix, you will also obtain Flightstones and Crests to upgrade the Radiant Echoes gear from the event itself!
- Completing objectives in the Radiant Echoes event awards 10 Flightstones and 2 Whelpling's Awakened Crest, which can be used to upgrade Radiant Echoes event gear to ilvl489 (or Veteran 4/8).
- Equipping gear with a miniumum ilvl of 489 on all gear slots unlocks the ability to exchange your Whelpling Crests to Drake's Awakened Crest, at an exchange rate of 90 Whelpling to 15 Drake.
- Completing a weekly Radiant Echoes quest — Broken Masquerade, Champion of the Waterlords, Only Darkness — awards 15 Flightstones and 5 Drake's Awakened Crest, granting alts a total of 45 Flightstones and 5 Drake's Crest for completion of
