Ever wanted to know what it's like to not just build your own MMO but run a studio that is making the next great MMO? Let's Build A Dungeon aims to bring you that experience.
From the developers of Let's Build A Zoo, Springloaded Software announced their next game that puts you in the role of an MMO dev, building the next great online adventure. Let's Build a Dungeon is a management sim where you hire developers, artists, programmers, testers and more to build out your vision of an MMO, whether it be a fantasy-themed dungeon crawler or a cozy farming sim to entice players to make your next game a hit.
Via the Steam announcement:
«Run your own studio, starting out as a fledgling indie trying to get things off the ground. Play as both game designer and CEO, making decisions about everything from your office location and tax decisions, to hiring and firing team members. We’re creating a multi-layered management sim that covers the creative art of developing video games, coupled with the strategic nature of running a business reliant on keeping players in-game.»

Honestly, when I first saw the trailer shared on X this morning, it looked like a cross between RPG Maker and a developer sim, and I'm all for it.
