Lies of P director Jiwan Choi has shared an update on the game’s DLC, as well as a new look at the DLC itself.
Writing on X, Choi opened his message addressed to the “Citizens of Krat”, the game’s setting.
“It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since we first invited you to Krat,” he wrote.
“As we endure the heat of Korea’s hottest summer yet and diligently work on the upcoming DLC, your continuous support and love are everything to us and motivate us to build the world of Lies of P.”
He added: “For the DLC of the Lies of P and the sequel, we aim to do better on what we did well and improve in areas we have room to grow.
“It might sound simple, but I that sticking to the basics is anything but easy. Thankfully, I have amazing colleagues in whom I can place my full trust.
“It’s funny how time seems to crawl when I am waiting for anticipated games as a gamer, but it flies by so fast when I am working on one. Bridging this gap is perhaps where I must strive the most.
Developers Neowiz and Round 8 Studio had previously confirmed that both the new DLC and a full sequel to the game were in development at the same time.
Lies of P was released in September for Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC via Steam, and was also available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
Having garnered scores of 80 (PS5), 83 (PC) and 84 (Xbox Series X/S) on review aggregation site Metacritic, the game sold over one million copies during its first month of availability, according to Neowiz.
