As the leaves start to fall and autumn kicks in, monsters come crawling! Well, not in real life, thankfully. It’s in Monster Hunter Now which is gearing up for its Season 3: Curse of the Wandering Flames. The new hunt starts on September 12th, 2024, at 12 AM (UTC).
There are a few big additions. They are Magnamalo, Rajang and Aknosom, who are ready to challenge even the most seasoned hunters. If you’ve unlocked them through urgent quests, they’ll be lurking out in the wild, waiting for you to take them down.
Rajang even has a chance of showing up in Hunt-a-thons. But, to be honest, don’t count on the Monster Tracker to help you out with him. You’ll need your wits and a good deal of luck to take him on!
Then there’s the Heavy Bowgun that can make things go boom from a distance. This weapon has two types of Special Skills. Depending on which Bowgun you’re rocking, you can rain down a hail of Wyvernheart shots or line up a devastating Wyvernsnipe shot.
And the cooking feature is finally making its way into Monster Hunter Now Season 3! You’ll be whipping up Well-Done Steaks that look tasty and come with unique in-game effects. There are new hunter medals as well, and new equipment and skills, like the Hellfire Cloak.
But then, some monsters are going on a little vacation. Radobaan, Banbaro, Tzitzi-Ya-Ku and a few others will be temporarily off the field of Monster Hunter Now when Season 3 drops. But don’t worry, they’re not gone forever. You can unlock them again by completing urgent quests.
From September 2nd to October 6th, there will be limited-time packs available in the in-game shop. It has a long list of stuff, like extra Potions with the Recovery Bargain Pack, Hunt Support Pack and more. So, grab Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and get ready for Season 3!
