Dragonflight Consumables Still Work and Are Much Cheaper
Getting ready for Mythic+ to open tomorrow, and want to start stocking up on consumables? Consider Dragonflight alternatives for Drums and Invis Pots — both still work!
With players gearing up for the launch of both Mythic Nerub-ar Palace as well as the official start of the Mythic+ season, many are looking to stock up with food, consumables, and enchants. Those who are looking to save some gold, however, can consider the Dragonflight versions of Drums and Invisibility potions, as both still work in The War Within content as of the writing of this article.
Dragonflight vs The War Within
Both Feral Hide Drums and Potion of the Hushed Zephyr are functionally identical to their TWW counterparts, with the added bonus of being orders of magnitude cheaper. Drums are currently about for Feral Hide Drums versus for Thunderous Drums, which is an enormous price difference, while Invisibility Potions cost between about for Potion of the Hushed Zephyr and for Draught of Silent Footfalls (both rank 3).
Keep in mind before you buy, however — it's possible that this was an oversight from Blizzard. Generally, the previous expansion's consumables are adjusted on launch to only affect players under a certain level, and it's likely that Blizzard will adjust both Feral Hide Drums and Potion of the Hushed Zephyr similarly. Stock up at your own risk!
