Shield and Off-Hand Transmogs Only Drop for Low Level Characters from Radiant Echoes
One of the main reasons to do the Radiant Echoes event is leveling alts, especially with the changes brought to the event last night. Players grinding the Radiant Echoes event have noticed that characters below level 70 are rarely getting Recruit-themed gear from completing objectives in the event.
Most of the Recruit gear that drops from Radiant Echoes resembles the gear transmogs obtainable from completing the Exile's Reach starting area, but three pieces in specific are pieces that are either entirely new, or a return of a piece that was previously very hard to obtain, requiring completion of a questline that hasn't been present in Retail WoW for a long time. We're highlighting both items below!
Recruit items can rarely drop from completing objectives and killing the final bosses in the Radiant Echoes event.
In addition to this, unlike with the lv70 Dalaran Defender gear (in which you can loot pieces not equippable by your class and send them to alts via the Warband bank), the Recruit gear from Radiant Echoes is bound on pickup, and you'll only loot pieces that your class/specialization can equip.
Alliance and Horde-Themed Simple Shields
Recruit's Sturdy Shield and Recruit's Sturdy Shield are two Shields that are Alliance and Horde-themed, these appearances being obtainable by players for the first time. Earning one of these shields will teach both appearances.
Simple Off-Hand Frill
Recruit's Sturdy Tome is a simple Off-Hand model that is returning to the game! The only item that shares a model with this off-hand is Tome of Divine Right, which drops from Mor Grayhoof.
