One of the main reasons to do the Radiant Echoes event is leveling alts, especially with the changes brought to the event last night. Players grinding the Radiant Echoes event have noticed that characters below level 70 are rarely getting Recruit-themed gear from completing objectives in the event.
Most of the Recruit gear that drops from Radiant Echoes resembles the gear transmogs obtainable from completing the Exile's Reach starting area, but three pieces in specific are pieces that are either entirely new, or a return of a piece that was previously very hard to obtain, requiring completion of a questline that hasn't been present in Retail WoW for a long time.
