We've been quietly looking forward to Wired Productions' intriguing puzzle game, Tin Hearts. As you can see in the above video, it operates similarly to Lemmings, in which you guide a marching line of tin soldiers through 3D levels as they scout around the house. Some were curious whether the game would be playable in PSVR2, as it was already known to support the original PSVR. While the initial response was noncommittal, we now have a more satisfactory answer.
It's now been confirmed that Tin Hearts will indeed be coming to PSVR2 in the future. The flatscreen version on PS5 and PS4 is scheduled for release on 20th April, while the PSVR2 version will follow in the summer. There's no firm release date for the VR version.
«Designed from the ground up for VR platforms as well as PC and consoles, players can fully immerse themselves in the beautiful world of Tin Hearts,» reads the press release. «Control, touch and feel the game’s mechanics, or physically move throughout the environments of the alternate-timeline Victorian universe full of nostalgic warmth and charm.»
So, there you have it. We'll be able to play in either TV mode or VR mode, with the latter coming later in the year. Are you excited to play Tin Hearts in virtual reality? March into the comments section below.
