A major addition to PS5's UI was made in the last big system software update, adding a Welcome tab to your console's home menu. Initially only available in the USA, it appears that the new feature is now coming online in Europe.
Sony unlocked this neat new feature first for those in the USA, with other territories to follow in a phased release schedule over several weeks.
We've now seen several accounts on places like Reddit's PS5 page and ResetEra, stating the Welcome hub is now showing up in certain European countries.
Anecdotally, we've yet to see it here in the UK, though it will certainly follow suit soon.
The Welcome hub is a flexible new part of PS5's home screen, with numerous informative widgets you can customise to your liking. It gives you at-a-glance info on things like downloads and uploads, Trophies, who's online, controller battery charge, and plenty more.
