Project L's final name has been revealed as 2XKO and Riot says that it's aiming to release at some point in 2025, with playtests expected to start this year.
2024 has already proven itself an exciting year for fighting games thanks to Tekken 8, but there's another huge contender on the horizon - Riot Games' League of Legends fighter. We've known it as Project L since it was first announced in 2019, but that test name has finally been removed and the final name has been revealed as 2XKO.
Yesterday, it was revealed that Project L's name was going to be revealed, leaving fans guessing as to what it was going to be. Although there were many guesses, the answer is quite far from anything I've seen floating around, as I'm pretty sure no one thought it'd end up being called 2XKO.
