Pokemon GO has announced the Sizeable Surprises event that will add shiny Wimpod, Kartana, and Celesteela. This year, Niantic has brought several additions to expand Pokemon GO's Pokedex, allowing players to find new monsters. And while the regular Pokedex continues to grow, Pokemon GO has also been expanding the list of shiny Pokemon that trainers can add to their records.
Players have seen several exciting additions, such as the debut of the Charcadet evolutionary line in Pokemon GO. Drampa and Enamorus debuted in February, and with Enamorus's arrival, it is now possible to find all four Forces of Nature in Pokemon GO. This year has also been productive for Pokemon GO players who collect shiny Pokemon, with the addition of critters such as Hisuian Typhlosion, Pachirisu, Chatot, and Rotom. With the start of the Verdant Wonders event, Pokemon GO got even more shinies, adding variants for all Flabebe's colors.
Pokemon GO has announced the Sizeable Surprises event, which starts on April 4 at 10 am and ends on April 9 at 8 pm local time. The big news of the event is the addition of shiny Kartana, Celesteela, and Wimpod, one of the Pokemon featured in Sword and Shield. Along with these three Pokemon, trainers will be able to find 11 other Pokemon in the wild, including Onix and Snorlax, with all except Tynamo and Cetoddle having a shiny chance. Among the bonuses available during the event, trainers will find shiny Wailmer, and XXS and XXL Pokemon in the wild.
During the Sizeable Surprises event, Pokemon GO players will see one- and three-star Raids, while the five-star Raids will be region-specific. Thus, players in the Northern Hemisphere will battle Kartana in the Northern Hemisphere, while trainers in the Southern Hemisphere will battle Celesteela, one of the Pokemon part of the Ultra Beasts group. The event will also feature Mega Raids with Mega Charizard X, Field Research with encounters with Cutiefly and five other Pokemon, new Collection Challenges, and Pokestop
