1047 Games has officially announced , the highly anticipated sequel to its portal-hopping, free-to-play arena shooter. The first game was released in early access in 2019, before seeing a full release in 2021, and a current-gen console release in 2022. In this time, the title amassed 22 million downloads and received praise for its fast-paced, innovative gameplay.
The first cinematic trailer for which was shared on the official YouTube channel for the game — confirmed a 2025 release window and showed more of the aesthetic that players enjoyed from the first game with a vibrant, futuristic arena and the arrival of three unique factions. These factions each feature specific playstyles and loadouts for strategic setups, with some of these tactics being shown off in the footage.
An accompanying press release from 1047 Games confirmed thatthe scope of would also be much larger than its predecessor, as the studio has grown to a worldwide team of more than 150 developers consisting of talent behind iconic FPS titles such as,,, and more being involved in its development. The sequel has been developed from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5 with a large variety of arenas, weapons, and modes that should enable players to join the battle at any skill level, whether alone or with friends.
