That will be followed by a series of sets focused on Trainer's Pokémon, a type of Pokémon card that was first introduced in the earliest days of the but hasn't appeared in years.
Today,the officially announced , a new set that formally introduces Trainer's Pokémon cards to international players. The new set will add four Trainer's Pokémon ex cards (specifically N’s Zoroark ex, Lillie’s Clefairy ex, Iono’s Bellibolt ex and Hop’s Zacian ex) along with several other Pokémon ex cards, new illustration rare cards, and special illustration rare cards. The set will formally launch on March 28, 2025, with prereleases happening two weeks beforehand, and products can already be found on the Pokémon Center website.
Theconfirmed that the set will initially feature four Trainer's Pokémon ex cards. N, Iono, Lillie, and Hop all appear in the promo material and booster pack art for the new set, but it's unclear whether other trainers will appear in the other set.
