21 years later, the wait is almost over. It was revealed earlier this year that Kadabra will be returning to the Pokemon TCG. Legal issues brought about by Uri Geller in the year 2000 eventually resulted in Pokemon having to stop including Kadabra in its TCG. That's all now water under the bridge and during the reveal of its Pokemon Card 151 collection, a first look at the returning Kadabra in card form was shown.
First reported by Pokbeach (thanks, Dexerto), cards from the collection were unveiled during the Champion's League 2023 tournament earlier this week. Pokemon didn't make a big fuss over the reveal of its Kadabra card, simply including the design among the others it had on hand to show off which also included Alakazam ex and Mew ex.

The collection will include all 151 of the original gen one Pokemon with an additional 14 Secret Rare cards that will remain under wraps for the time being. The collection will launch in June and the Kadabra card which will be a part of it features the long-absent Pokemon holding its spoon up in front of its face, glowing to light up the darkened room in which it's standing.
Kadabra's spoon is one of the reasons Geller took legal action against Pokemon years ago. The illusionist claimed the design of the Pokemon had been inspired by him without anyone asking if that would be okay. Kadabra is also called Yungerer in Japan which effectively confirmed The Pokemon Company had pulled inspiration from Geller when designing the Pokemon.
