@Th3solution I fully agree. The chicken scene, I could look past. Not great, not terrible either. But in the scene with the baby, I really felt a disconnect with the game (wtf, did that really just happen?) It was not the depiction itself, but it just really felt out of place considering the overall tone and style of the game. I get that it is probably derived from local myths or folk tales, but I can’t imagine there are no other ways to tell and depict this. Same for all the islanders who got blown to pieces in the prison. When you think about it, yes, dr Cortex conducted live experiments on Crash Bandicoot and god knows what Bowser does to Peach, but that is only circumstantial and not in your face. All in all, not the end of the world and it did not hinder my enjoyment of the game. It was just weird.
