Happy Meals are getting Pokémon toys again in August, but don’t be surprised if McDonald’s imposes some restrictions.
Last year, as part of the celebrations for the Pokémon franchise’s 25th anniversary, McDonald’s landed a special promotion to sell themed Happy Meals.

Don’t be surprised if McDonald’s once again enforces restrictions and limits how many Happy Meals you can buy.
This is because, during the last promotion, some people were buying Happy Meals in bulk for the sole purpose of gathering as many of the cards as possible and selling them for extortionate prices online.
This practice doesn’t appear to have stopped as a cursory Google search reveals
