Pokémon GO Adds Hisuian Voltorb As First Hisuian Form In The Game

Hisuin Voltorb is now available to be caught in Pokémon GO.Pokémon Gocommonly introduces elements from new releases in the series. This serves the purpose of adding content and keeping the game fresh and exciting for its loyal players as well as potentially tempting new fans in or coaxing inactive veterans of the game to return. Pokémon players love catching new Pokémon for the first time, and adding content from a game they might not have yet provides incentive to dip their toes into Pokémon GO in the interim.

Hisuian form Pokémon were introduced to the franchise in the recently released Pokémon Legends: Arceus. There are 18 of the new Pokémon forms in total and they can be found scattered across the region of Hisui where Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes place. Although Hisui is in the same location as Sinnoh, the story of Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes place in an ancient time, long before the Sinnoh fans know from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl and those games' recent remakes.

According to an article by Siliconera, as of today, January 30th, Hisuian Voltorb will be available to catch in Pokémon GO. The article cites a Tweet by Serebii.net which says that as of 10:00 AM local time the Team GO Rocket Power Plant event will end and concurrent with the close of that event, Hisuian Voltorbs will begin to appear in the game. There is currently no confirmed duration for when Hisuian Voltorb will be available in Pokémon GO so eager trainers should act quickly, lest time run out on them unexpectedly.

Serebii Update: As the Team GO Rocket event ends in Pokémon GO at 10:00 local time on January 30th 2022, Hisuian Voltorb will start to spawn in the game. Details
