Among the many iconic maps, one that often gets brought up by nostalgic fans is Blood Gulch.
Introduced in the original Halo: Combat Evolved, Blood Gulch is a multiplayer map that supports 4-16 player matches. One aspect of the location that makes it unique is its position in the middle of a canyon, with towering mountains surrounding it. Recently, players have started talking about the prospects of bringing a version of this map back to the series in Halo Infinite.
Halo Infinite Dev Gives Update on Co-Op and Forge
In a post on Reddit, a user known as Lastnv started a discussion about the multiplayer in Halo Infinite. Specifically, they asked whether a version of Blood Gulch would work as a playable map. Unsurprisingly, numerous members of the Halo Infinite community on Reddit were quick to weigh in. With over 8,800 upvotes in less than a day, many had strong opinions about reviving the classic map.
Among the comments, the general consensus among fans was that the Halo: CE map or one of its remakes would be an excellent fit for the supposedly fixed Big Team Battle mode.
