Chukwudi Iwuji, who is currently starring in HBO Max's Peacemaker, teases his immensely powerful Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 character. Currently billed as the final Guardians of the Galaxy movie directed by James Gunn, Vol. 3 is in production now ahead of its May 2023 debut. It looks to bring back all members of the original team, from Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) to Drax (Dave Bautista). Plot details are still being kept under wraps, but those who have read the script promise it's an emotional ride. Case in point: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is expected to feature a major death.
While the film is largely being positioned as a send-off for several characters, it's also introducing some newcomers to the MCU. The buzziest one is Adam Warlock, a popular comics character who fans have been expecting to see on the big screen for some time now. Will Poulter will play Adam. Additionally, Gunn cast Iwuji in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after seeing his work on Peacemaker, the DCEU show he created. Iwuji's role is being kept under wraps, but it sounds like fans should brace themselves for a thrilling introduction.
