Rocksteady's next game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, will release later in 2022, and with one particular member, Peacemaker, benefiting from an ongoing series on HBO max, a full game dedicated to the character could be the studio's best step. From a largely unknown comic book anti-hero to a character with his own hit HBOMax series, Peacemaker has become quite popular, and now more than ever would be the best time for him to hit consoles. There are a lot of aspects of the self-proclaimed «defender of peace» that would make him a great addition to Rocksteady's DC universe, which is why the Batman: Arkham series developer should make a game about him after Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's 2022 release.
Peacemaker was a prominent character in James Gunn's latest film The Suicide Squad, and he now has a series on HBOMax currently airing its first season. He's an antihero who cherishes peace, ironically willing to kill anyone to achieve it. Despite being in a dark and gory series, Peacemaker has his own light-hearted moments, often being a loveable fool that fans have come to adore. His sense of dark humor and chaotic good helps continue the ongoing streak of quality storytelling that James Gunn has brought to the DCEU. If written in a similar way, Peacemaker could possibly do the same for Rocksteady's Arkhamverse, with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League already adopting a more humorous tone than the previous Batman: Arkham games.
