Overwatch 2 will receive a mid-season matchmaking mechanics update in the coming weeks. With some time passed since the release of Season 3, the Overwatch 2 team is still hard at work fine-tuning the sequel to its competitive hero shooter.

Season 3 of Overwatch 2 arrived on February 7, bringing along some of the community's most-requested features and fixes. With an updated map pool, several tweaks to the in-game economy, and changes to ranked mode and matchmaking, some players are relieved with the direction the game appears to be headed, especially after a somewhat rocky start for the Overwatch sequel.
