16-bit-style retro-futuristic science-fiction text adventure game OMEGA 6: The Triangle Stars, formerly titled OMEGA 6: The Video Game, will launch for Switch on July 25, publisher City Connection and developer Happymeal announced.
OMEGA 6: The Triangle Stars is based on the manga OMEGA 6 written by Takaya Imamura, who was the main art director, character designer, and storywriter on the F-ZERO and Star Fox series.
In Japan, the game will be priced at 3,850 yen for the standard edition, 8,470 yen for the “Black Whole Box” special edition, and 16,500 yen for the special edition with an art book and signed card set. Pre-orders will open on April 5.
The “Black Whole Box” special edition includes a copy of the game, the original soundtrack (CD and download code), the Japanese-language OMEGA 6 comic, a manual booklet, and a mini-size poster. The special edition with art book and signed card set includes a Takaya Imamura art book and mini card directly signed by Imamura.
