Nvidia limits GeForce Now to 100 hours per month
pcgamesinsider.bizTech giant Nvidia is putting a 100-hour limit per user on its GeForce Now subscription service every month.
In a post on Reddit, the GPU firm said that this change will affect subscribers to its Performance and Ultimate tiers.
Nvidia added that this was more than enough for 94 per cent of its users and would be coming into effect at the start of 2025. Founders members will still be able to play for an unlimited time.
If folks don't use their allowance for a month, up to 15 hours will be transferred over to the next month. More hours can be purchased separately; Performance tier subscribers will have to spend $2.99 for 15 hours, while Ultimate members will be set back by $5.99.
Users who are currently subscribed – or subscribe by December 31st, 2024 – won't be impacted by these changes until the start of 2026. People who subscribe after that date will be subject to this amended terms.
Nvidia launched GeForce Now in February 2020 after almost three years in beta.
