No Breaks Between Diablo 4 Seasons Planned
With Season of Blood newly announced as the second season of Diablo 4, the question immediately was posed: when does it start? Thankfully, Blizzard was quick to answer the question, and Season of Blood will begin on October 17th. Many players quickly noticed, however, that this leaves no break time between Season 1 and Season 2 — in fact, the end of Season 1 is the immediate beginning of Season of Blood.
Season 2 Begins Immediately After Season 1 Ends on Reddit
While some players are concerned that this will lead to Seasonal Burnout, others welcome the immediate seasonal shift.
One common thread on Reddit, however, is the continued request for a Diablo 4 PTR to help test Seasonal content before it goes live, much like Diablo 3 currently has. This would allow players to bug test, attempt to theorycraft builds, and generate hype about Seasonal mechanics, but with no downtime in between the seasons, this PTR possibility is looking less and less likely.
