New Thor: Love And Thunder Photo Brings Natalie Portman And Tessa Thompson Together
Actress Natalie Portman's highly-anticipated return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Thor franchise in the fourth installment titled Thor: Love and Thunder has fans ecstatic, and the release of photos that include her and Tessa Thompson has caused the hype to grow even more — and for super-fan theories to circulate.
The adventures of The God of Thunder continue in Thor: Love and Thunder. The story is set to follow the godly hero Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth) as his retirement from saving the world is cut short because he must battle Gorr the God Butcher (played by Christian Bale), a villain who sets out to eradicate the gods. Fighting what seems to be one of his most deadly threats to date, Thor reaches out to Valkyrie (played by Thompson), Korg (played by Taika Waititi), and his past love Jane Foster (played by Portman).

With Thor 4's July 2022 release date rapidly approaching, Marvel has been dropping major teasers about the film left and right. The most recent look is an image released by Marvel Studios directly from Thor: Love and Thunder depicting Thompson's Valkyrie and Portman's Jane Foster as they sit side by side in extravagant chairs, which seem like they may be some sort of throne but nothing has been confirmed yet. It also looks like Portman has now taken her place as a God of Thunder, and the actress is sporting the physique to match her new title as The Mighty Thor. It also looks like Thompson's character is equipped with some new armor that is colored black and white, which happens to be the same color scheme as Gorr the God Butcher as well.
