New Thor: Love and Thunder merchandise reveals a detailed look at Korg's redesign and new facial hair. Marvel Studios' Thor series began with two Shakespearean-esque installments. The first movie in 2011 was helmed by Kenneth Branagh and was followed by the 2013 sequel, The Dark World, directed by Alan Taylor, which was met with a mixed reception. An Academy Award-winning screenwriter and a distinct presence behind the camera, Waititi is also known as a voice actor, showcasing his talents on The Mandalorian as IG-11 and the upcoming Disney Pixar movie Lightyear. Waititi also voices and provides a motion-capture performance for the MCU character Korg, who was introduced in Ragnarok as the soft-spoken Kronan rock warrior who befriends Thor in a Sakaaran cell. After being seen in New Asgard during Avengers: Endgame, the fan-favorite rock character will return in this summer's Thor: Love and Thunder.
