Dave Filoni's new Star Wars show Tales of the Jedi will finally reunite Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. Ever since Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012, the company has developed several new projects for the Star Wars franchise. Its movie sequel trilogy received mixed reviews, but many of the series released on Disney+, including the live-action series The Mandalorian, were successful hits. Currently, Disney seems to be focusing on creating more Star Wars television series like the recently released Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Tales of the Jedi was first officially announced in April this year as an animated anthology series. Although rumors about the new show had already been floating around the internet, the series's confirmation was posted on the Star Wars Celebration website with legendary Star Wars writer/director Dave Filoni set to appear in a panel for the new show. Now, with the weekend of the Star Wars convention finally here, Filoni shared more details about Tales of the Jedi, including exciting news for fans of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

At the Star Wars Celebration, Dave Filoni revealed that the long-awaited reunion of Anakin and Ahsoka is finally coming. Ahsoka and her reckless master will reunite in the upcoming animated series Tales of the Jedi which Filoni shared will feature episodes that span "a large portionof her life". The images revealed in the Tales of the Jedi panel also backed up Filoni's words as they showed Ahsoka training as a youngling in a temple, Ahsoka facing someone wielding a double-sided red lightsaber, and Ahsoka and Anakin together.
