During the newest episode of The Kardashians, Kendall Jenner proved her privilege by not knowing how to cut a cucumber, and fans found this scene hilarious. The Kar-Jenners have never tried to hide their wealth or extravagant lifestyles. In fact, they're more likely to show off their envious lives on social media than they are to keep them private. Recently, the family attended the exclusive Met Gala and once again reminded everyone how luxurious their lives are. Kendall went for a punk-inspired look with bleached eyebrows, a sheer Prada top and a big black floor-length skirt, which was a drastic change from last year's sheer, bedazzled gown.
The Kar-Jenners have been called out countless times for their inability to acknowledge their privilege in the way fans wish they would. In late 2020, while most of the world was still coping with the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kim Kardashian and Kendall were both criticized for having birthday celebrations when society was still supposed to be socially distancing. Kim turned 40 on October 21 and celebrated by bringing her family and friends to a private island for a COVID-safe party. In early November, Kendall received similar criticism after a video from her birthday party spread all over Twitter showing a worker wearing a mask holding a cake up to Kendall so she could blow out her candles while he moved out of the way to protect himself.
