Marrying Annie came at a cost to David, who, while dealing with financial issues, had to pay her family a dowry of $15,000, over $6,000 worth of gold, and two water buffalo. Besides, the age gap of 24 years between them made fans wonder if they’d end up staying together.
Since fans met the iconic 90 Day Fiancé duo, David and Annie have broken many stereotypes. Not only are they still married, but David and Annie are also one of the franchise’s biggest successes.
