Former 90 Day Fiancé star David Murphey’s makeover, which has several fans crushing on him, has a lot to do with his weight loss. David’s storyline with his Ukrainian partner Svetlana (better known as Lana) on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4 was a mysterious affair. David had met Lana on a dating website and it took seven years before he was able to see her face to face. Fans thought that Lana was a catfish who had scammed David, as the relationship cost him thousands of dollars.

However, Lana, who ended up meeting him on his fifth visit to Ukraine, was real, and even got engaged to David in the season finale. There were questions about David and Lana’s marriage that remained unanswered, even after the Tell-All. Lana didn’t make time for David, and even though they were supposedly together, she was still using dating sites. Finally, in November 2021, Lana told her Instagram followers that she was no longer with David. She went on to claim that her relationship with him on 90 Day Fiancé was 90% scripted. In a recent episode of 90 Day Diaries, David revealed that he and Lana stopped communicating four months into their engagement.
