Christmas Abbott and Memphis Garrett, stars of Big Brother 22 and Big Brother: All-Stars, got married in Savannah, Georgia, during Memorial Day weekend. The couple met on the 2020 all-stars season of the show, and felt very drawn to each other. However, they did not begin exploring their feelings until long after the finale of the show. In December 2020, Christmas and Memphis confirmed that they were dating.
Memphis and Christmas, who originally competed on Big Brother 10 and Big Brother 19 respectively, went into the all-stars season avoiding a showmance because they did not want to be distracted from their gameplay. However, they developed a close friendship in which they bonded about being parents because they both have young sons. Memphis is the father of River and Christmas is the mother of Loyal. They became allies in the game as well, working together to evict their opponents. After the show, they reunited in Florida, and even attended Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo’s wedding together in March 2021. After months of dating, Memphis surprised Christmas with a proposal at the Little Palm Island Resort and Spa in Florida in June 2021, and she happily accepted.

Christmas and Memphis got married in a romantic wedding ceremony at the State Railroad Museum in Savannah on May 28. E! News reported that Memphis wore a black tuxedo by Tom Ford, and Christmas wore a gorgeous white gown from Laura Nagle. They exchanged wedding rings from Adam Campbella and David Yurman.
