June is almost here, which means a whole new slate of shows and movies to watch on Peacock. Some of the content is available starting on June 1, while other shows and movies will be available a little later next month.
On June 24, Kate Berlant (Sorry to Bother You, I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson) and John Early (Search Party, Tuca and Bertie) unveil their new comedy special, Would It Kill You To Laugh? The one-hour special will see Berlant and Early «playing exaggerated versions of themselves as they reunite after suffering a public falling out many years earlier.» Their chemistry together captures a pitch-perfect satire of millennials--which may or may not entice you to give it a chance, but watch a sketch they released on Peacock during the pandemic to better understand the pair's flavor.
Much earlier in the month, Queer as Folk--a series that has had many lives--is coming to Peacock. The original British series that aired from 1999 to 2000, about the lives of three gay men living in Manchester's gay village around Canal Street, will hit Peacock with all its episodes on June 1. Then, in its second revival and reboot, the Peacock original series version will hit the streaming service on June 9. This new version is set in New Orleans, and stars Fin Argus (Agents of SHIELD), Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City), and Jesse James Keitel (Big Sky)
