We're a mere three weeks away from the release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and apparently Sony had one last big trailer for us that puts the focus on a couple of the new Spider-folks we'll be meeting in the film: Miguel O'Hara aka Spider-Man 2099, and a house cat known only as Spider-Cat.
On top of getting more time with Miguel, this trailer includes a ton of gorgeous new out-of-context shots of the Spider-Verse. While we don't know what it all means, this trailer is showing us that the second Spider-Verse flick might be even more beautiful than we're expecting. And we're expecting it to be pretty dang beautiful. Watch the trailer below.
Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse will see Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker and the other Spider-people from the first movie return alongside dozens or hundreds of new Spider-folks. Together, they're facing The Spot, a man whose body is made up of dimensional warps. Sounds like he's uniquely equipped to battle this dimension-hopping Spider-crew.
For more tantalizing details about what you can expect from Across the Spider-Verse, check out our write-up of the 14 minutes of footage we saw at CinemaCon last month.
We'll see how it all plays out when Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse hits theaters on June 2.
