No Man’s Sky has received a new update on all platforms (including PlayStation VR2), adding Singularity, the tenth Expedition. It’s the follow-up to the story of Interceptor and sees players starting Ahei XV, learning more about the harmonic camps, AI and more.
Hello Games is teasing “several layers” of secrets that could point to the game’s future. However, for those interested in rewards, you can earn the Construct Customization Set to take on the appearance of automation (with an Atlantid or Crimson head).
You can also obtain posters for Atlas, Atlantid and a strange Construct to decorate your base with, and the Discordant Jetpack Trailer, whose effect “is spilled across the landscape, a trail of dissonant reverberations that echo on a strange and unknowable frequency.” Trippy. There’s also a new Crimson Freighter Trail and Living Fragment Decorations for your base.
Check out the patch notes below for more details. No Man’s Sky is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It’s received numerous free updates since its controversial launch in August 2016 and has become one of the more beloved live-service titles.
