Spidey Fans Think Kraven Will Be Venom In Spider-Man 2

Now that we know Eddie Brock isn't Venom in Spider-Man 2, fans are convinced that Kraven is going to end up bonding with the symbiote and becoming Venom in the Insomniac Games universe.

One of the biggest surprises at Summer Game Fest was when Spider-Man 2 was featured on stage, revealing to us the game's release date, cover art, and some new pieces of concept art. While talking about Venom onstage, it was confirmed that Eddie Brock isn't going to be Venom in the Insomniac universe, while Peter was shown fighting him alongside Miles, debunking the theory that he might be the big bad this time around.

While that might seem like it leaves Harry Osborn as the last rational choice to be Venom in Spider-Man 2, that does seem a little obvious considering Insomniac has confirmed that Venom's identity will be one of the game's big mysteries. Worry not, though, as fans have already started theorising another character that could end up being Venom - Kraven the Hunter.

Over on Twitter, KhalidBrooks1 shared an image of Kraven wearing a cloth version of the black suit from Kraven's Last Hunt, saying, "I believe Kraven will be Venom in this game. We know Harry has the symbiote from the first game. If it was Harry I feel like they would just say it". Several posts on the Spider-Man PS4 subreddit and across Twitter suggest the same thing, that Insomniac's caginess on the subject suggests that it's not Harry and that now that we know it's not Eddie either, it makes sense for Kraven to become Venom.

From what we've seen of Spider-Man 2 so far, it seems that Kraven is going to open the game as the big bad while Peter has the symbiote, before he loses it
