PS5 System Update Out Now, Doesn't Do A Whole Lot

The newest PlayStation system software update has arrived, but don't expect much in the way of major changes. The new update, Version 23.01-07.40.00, improves system performance and stability and improves «usability» for some screens, Sony said in the patch notes.
This is the first PS5 update since April's 23.01-07.20.00, which was also a minor update improved stability and usability, and also made some changes to the DualSense Edge for stability.
