The City of Threads is the seat of the Kaheti nerubian empire. After progressing through the Azj-Kahet storyline, you will gain access to part of the city and gain access to new side questlines, including reencountering a friend we made in Dragonflight. We did their questline!
One of the main points we learn through the Azj-Kahet main storyline is that nerubians are effectively blind — They mostly identify friend or foe by the pheromones they exhale. After earning the Vizier's pheromones, one of the friendly nerubians we ally ourselves with in the main storyline, we gain access to most of the City of Threads — And with it, new questlines open for players. One of the new questlines that opens up brings us to a recent — if slightly unsettling — friend.
Those who did digs in Zaralek Cavern might remember Mr. Sunflower — One sniffenseeking dig features him drinking tea with some webbed «patients», and he asks us to identify which one is correctly fit to «reenter society, free of his murderous intentions» during the quest Successful Interventions.
As it turns out. Mr. Sunflower has his very own clinic in the City of Threads, and we help him perform therapy once more, uncovering more details of the nerubian empire in the process.
Mr. Sunflower has a new quest for us, in which he has us help one of his patients — They're deathly afraid of creatures with fewer limbs than them, grown into a phobia of dismemberment. He has us talk with his patient and show him that having fewer than eight limbs is not such a bad thing.
We first attempt to talk to Vee'azel, who is deathly scared of our low amount of limbs. Mr. Sunflower suggests we drink a potion that reduces our size, to make us look less menacing, but even this is not enough for Vee'azel, who runs away. We eventually discover the source of Vee'azel's fear...
