NACON announced on Wednesday that it would be releasing a brand new controller, the Revolution 5 Pro, later this year, offering up a PlayStation-licensed controller compatible with multiple platforms.
The Revolution 5 Pro is described as “the perfect ally for competitive gamers” and features full customization options, including four profiles that can be assigned to the controller, three sets of weights, three stick sizes, three sets of stick heads, and more.
In an effort to eliminate “stick drift,” NACON has also implemented magnetic technology into the controller, which will allegedly eliminate any issues.
NACON also boasts that the controller will feature trigger blockers, allowing players to customize the amplitude of their triggers to perfectly adjust the controller to their desired way of playing. Despite being licensed for PlayStation devices, the controller will work with PC as well and will have a custom PC app to help players customize the controller.
Pre-orders for the Revolution 5 Pro are available on their website and will become available at Best Buy and GameStop in November. The controller retails for $199.90 and is set to release sometime in December 2023.
