Warning! Spoilers ahead for My Hero Academia chapter 360!
Tomura Shigaraki's transformation into some sort of weird Shigaraki/All For One hybrid is finally getting justified in My Hero Academia but only for one reason that may only happen once — and the moment might have already passed.
It was originally exciting when All For One betrayed Shigaraki by stealing his body. It made fans feel sorry for Shigaraki despite for all of the atrocities he's committed. Fans were also baffled (and still are) about the act that there are apparently two All For Ones since Shigaraki is fusing with what's assumed to be a clone while the other is ostensibly untouched and fighting against Endeavor. But there's a major downside. Shigaraki was already an appealing villain whom readers were invested in long before this shocking development, especially since he was so creepy. Unfortunately, Shigaraki began losing his identity ever since the fusion began to the point where he's not an augmented version of each of them but just a dilution of both.

But My Hero Academia chapter 360 by mangaka Kohei Horikoshi just introduced the one good reason that's come of Shigaraki losing his identity. Right on the opening page the Shigaraki hybrid outright says that his quirk getting erased was a blessing in disguise. He then proceeds to torture his opponent Bakugo with not only his bare hands, but bare feet. He steps on Bakugo's head, grabs Bakugo's head with his toes, pulls him up in this way, kicks him in the face, and then unleashes a flurry of other physical blows before he finally puts Bakugo in a chokehold.
In other words, fusing with All For One has caused Shigaraki to lose his Decay
