Tremor is an often-overlooked Mortal Kombat ninja, and it's easy to see why. Introduced in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces, he didn't stand a chance to compete with the likes of Scorpion and Sub-Zero. That wasn't even enough to net him an appearance in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, the "everyone is here" game. So, it came as a surprise to see that Mortal Kombat 1 is giving him another chance.
But after waiting for so long, Tremor's latest design has left fans disappointed. Brought back as a Kameo, Tremor's new look was spotted in the recent Omni-Man gameplay trailer, and it's been met with a mixed reception. Overall, fans seem to feel like he just looks a bit daft and miss his Mortal Kombat X design.

"Everyone's talking about Omni Man but can we talk about Tremor is back? Thoughts on the design?" asks Reddit user Au_June, sharing a zoomed-in shot that gives us a peek at the new Tremor.
Straight away, fans seem to feel that NetherRealm has overdone it with the rock theme here. Sure, that is his whole thing, but he just is a rock now. Mortal Kombat X gave him someskin, with the rock instead forming fists for him to use against his foes.
"His rocky skin looks very... uncomfortable," says DMAN3431 "It just looks too much compared to MKX rocky skin. I'd rather just have him with human skin who can have rocky skin as armor."
Overall, the MKX look is the winner, even among fans who don't totally hate the new look. Admittedly, his new appearance does have its supporters, preferring its simplicity and dedication to his earth theme.
