As Moon Knight steps aside to make room for Ms. Marvel, the reigning aesthetic for Disney Plus' current MCU series changes dramatically. However, some newly surfaced artwork shows the Egyptian superhero had a drastically different look in early drafts for the show.
Marvel Studios' Moon Knight made the MCU dip its toes in the thriller and horror genres as directors Mohamed Diab and Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead used their experiences to make audiences immerse themselves into the world of Marc Spector's fractured personality. Funnily enough, in his beginnings, Moon Knight was often likened to being Marvel's answer to Batman, and though Oscar Isaac's Steven Grant personality is a far cry from the billionaire playboy he is in the comics, those ideas did influence this high-tech concept art.

In this case, Visual Development Supervisor at Marvel Studios Jackson Sze has been sharing some of his early work in Moon Knight that eventually evolved into the definitive version of the hero fans got to see. As the artist explains, this version of the protagonist was made during the pre-production stage, and it certainly does end up coming off as more sci-fi than anything Moon Knight is typically associated with. That said, this early concept art still has the added flair of his signature crescent moon iconography.
Sze is right, as this unused version of the costume looks more like something Bruce Wayne came up with rather than the powers granted to Marc by an ancient Egyptian deity.
