Warning! Spoilers ahead for Spider-Man 2099: Exodus #3
In the latest issue of Spider-Man 2099: Exodus, readers are introduced to the future Moon Knight who's far more powerful than the vigilante of the present day. Chosen by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, Marc Spector protects the travelers of the night from his Midnight Mission located in New York City. However, Moon Knight 2099 is a more horrifying and powerful seeker of vengeance (while also leading of the 2099 Avengers).
In previous issues of Spider-Man 2099: Exodus from Steve Orlando and Zé Carlos, the future Webslinger Miguel O'Hara has been attempting to recruit as many heroes as he can. Following the death of a massive Celestial whose remains created a garden full of valuable resources, Spider-Man 2099 is looking to take down the still-living Norman Osborn and his cabal of supervillains before they can plunder, making their rule absolute. Following encounters with the Ghost Rider, Winter Soldier, and Valkyrie of 2099, Spider-Man has joined the future Avengers in their battle against the Masters of Evil in Spider-Man 2099: Exodus #3.
