The latest issue of Batman gives the Dark Knight a brand new outfit, but it's like nothing his readers have ever seen before. Batman is known for his wide array of gadgets and contingency plans, and often his wardrobe has options for any situation he might find himself in. In Batman #125, which kicks off a brand new era for the World's Greatest Detective, Batman debuts a look that blends his Bruce Wayne persona with his vigilante lifestyle.
Fans love to debate what Batman's best costume is, and with more than 80 years of Batman appearances to choose from, the options are plentiful. From blue cape to black, from purple gloves to armored gauntlets, the Caped Crusader has made some of the most iconic fashion choices in comics. In recent comics, he has appeared in both the classic trunks-and-cowl look as well as his Batman Incorporated costume. Batman's costume has had to go «back to basics» as Bruce Wayne lost his fortune in the recent Joker War event, and now Bruce is also seeing the social repercussions of losing so much of his wealth.
